Tom Walker interview

Tom Walker (pictured) is a partially sighted freelance journalist and advocate for visually impaired and blind people. He is best known for his broadcasts on Radio 4’s In Touch programme, but will also be a familiar voice to listeners on BBC Radio Lancashire. He’s a great music lover, football aficionado (FC United Of Manchester, oh dear) and, in true hack fashion, imbiber of the odd pint of real ale or several. So what’s not to like? Answers on a postcard please!

Here’s the outcome of our chat in Igloo Studios on Thursday 23rd May……Oh, and by the way – Jesamine by The Casuals was a hit in 1968 NOT 1969. OMG, I’ve been exposed to the world as an idiot…yet again. How reassuringly familiar this must be for you all.
